I am a musician and would like to be represented on the MiR scheme. How do I go about this?
Complete and submit the form for Musicians in the appropriate section of this site and we will consider you for inclusion on next year's scheme (selection takes place in the summer prior to the next financial year).

Musicians charged us VAT on top of their fee. Can we include this in our claim?
No. The information clearly indicates those musicians charging VAT, and that subsidy is calculated against the fee alone: VAT, travel and other expenses are not included.

The cost of the musicians we booked is greater than budgeted as their expenses were higher than anticipated. Can we claim for the full amount?
No, we strongly recommend that you agree a limit on expenses when confirming the booking in writing. We can only pay up to the maximum subsidy allocated.

We need to produce the publicity material for our event and have not heard the outcome of our application.
