Applying For Funding
All deadlines for this year have passed.
We will be accepting new applications for the 2009/2010 season shortly. Please join our mailing list to receive email notification when new applications are being accepted.
Applying for funding is a six step process. Steps marked with an asterisk (*) should be performed through this website.
Application Process
- *1. Use the Musicians section of this site to find the artist(s) you wish to promote.
- 2. Contact your chosen artist(s) and arrange a provisional booking.
- *3. Click the "apply for funding" link below your chosen artist(s) to begin the application process. You will be asked to confirm that you have made a provisional booking and that you have read the Terms and Conditions of application. The application process should only take a few minutes. You will receive a confirmation email when your application is successfully received by Musicians in Residence.
Please Note: Late applications cannot be considered. In order to be considered for subsidy you must have completed the online application process; contact with musicians alone is insufficient.
- 4. Within 8 weeks of the next deadline after your application, you will receive written confirmation of the amount of subsidy available.
- *5. Within 8 weeks of the concert you must return to this site and fill in a claim form. If a form has not been received within 8 weeks it will be assumed that subsidy is not needed and will not be payable. Your comments on the success of the performance are required, as well as complete financial information, in order to monitor the scheme effectively.
- 6. A cheque should be with you with 2-4 weeks of the completion of the claim form. Subsidy will only be paid on receipt of claim forms.
